I love having the first look conversation. When couples choose to have one, I want to know a few things.
How do you envision this going down?
How do we make these few minutes as spacious and sacred and intimate as possible?
What is my role? How close do you want me? What do you need from me in this part of the day?
When I asked Julia these questions, her response was gold. She wanted time. A pause to breathe, to live in it for a minute. She wanted images of that "almost, not yet" feeling.
